Overview
- What you will do in this role:
- Participate actively in the design and development process, creating architecture that is scalable and adaptable to support multiple customers with varying needs.
- Interpret business requirements provided by clients or business analysts and translate them into functional applications and supporting database schemas.
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and TypeScript.
- Build robust and efficient REST APIs for various applications.
- Perform data modeling and manage SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
- Implement microservices architecture and ensure effective communication between services.
- Integrate external services, including payment gateways, social media platforms, and more
- Deploy applications using cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with experience in tools like Nginx for load balancing.
- Follow Agile development practices, including Scrum, for effective project planning and execution.
- Stay updated with new technologies and best practices, adopting them into the development process.
- Ensure code quality and application performance through the use of version control tools like Git.
- What qualifications you will need:
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development using NodeJS, ExpressJS/NestJS, and MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript programming languages.
- In-depth understanding of NodeJS with the ExpressJS framework or NestJS
- Experience in building REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with ORM tools like TypeORM or Sequelize.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) for notifications, data storage, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and implementation.
- Familiarity with Nginx, and deployment on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile development, and Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and code versioning tools like Git
