Who We Are Looking For

As a webpt Therabill Senior Software Engineer, you will work inside a collaborative team to deliver innovative software solutions to help solve the many challenges faced by rehab therapy businesses and therapists. To provide scalable and flexible solutions, our applications utilize the latest in modern software technologies such as LAMP Stack, PHP, MYSQL, Apache and SAAS. As a member of the team, you will work closely with fellow members to participate in all aspects of the design, development, and deployment of software features.

What You’ll Be Doing as A Part of Our Team

• Work with the product team to refine user stories and clarify requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and debugging of software solutions.
• Code software features on a biweekly (or less) delivery cycle
• Create unit test plans and perform unit testing.
• Contribute to code reviews of other team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Work to maintain the performance and scalability of our PHP applications.
• Participate in Agile Scrum Team ceremonies focused on delivering high quality software.
  
  
  

What You Should Have To Qualify

• Be willing to learn new technologies.
• Be flexible and collaborate openly with others.
• Be a self-starter who enjoys problem solving.
• Challenge assumptions and find ways to improve productivity.
• 7 to 10 years of professional software development experience
• Working experience with a Linux/Unix Operating System
• Working experience with Software repository tools such as Git or SVN
• Well rounded PHP and MySQL Database storage solutions experience
• Has coded without rapid development web frameworks (CodeIgniter, CakePHP), or only a minimal reliance on them.
• 1 year of SCRUM Agile practices experience
  
  
  

Ideally, You Would Also Have These

• 3 years SaaS development experience
• 2 years experience working with JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax
• Exposure to ReactJS, Node.js, CI\CD building pipelines.
• Familiarity with a variety of Software technologies
