Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans ensuring product quality, performance, and reliability. The role involves both manual and automated testing, with a focus on database impact, usability, regression, and real-world performance validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts for new products or updates.
- Perform manual and automated testing across UI, API, and database layers.
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers for resolution.
- Maintain test documentation, reports, and defect databases.
- Develop and maintain automated testing tools and environments.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and smooth releases.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automated).
- Strong in .NET, C++, REST API, SQL/NoSQL, and Windows environments.
- Proficient with Selenium, Python scripting, and automated UI testing.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, microservices architecture.
- Experience with kernel/driver software or systems software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Internal and External Relationships:
Given the limited direct customer interactions, the individual will primarily work with Project Managers, Program Managers, and Product Owners on a regular basis. Building strong relationships with these internal teams will be crucial to foster better collaboration and ensure seamless teamwork.
