Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Tester for one of our global clients in the forex trading industry
Senior Software Tester
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and specifications and translate requirements into a defined test strategy, plan, and specifications.
- Identify use cases, create test plans, and create test cases to report to stakeholders on the quality and reliability of our products.
- Assist the Expert with managing the work of Testers during test preparation and execution activities.
- Introduce, optimize, or adapt supporting processes like defect management and configuration management to capture and manage defects, fixes, regression test cycles, and data reloads.
- Responsible in creating Testing documents / artifacts covering the functionalities for the completed projects.
- Create, install, optimize, and administrate the testing environment.
- Create customized or tool generated test scripts to execute and automate test plans.
- Execute the test scripts and test plans and record results.
- Capture and manage defects, fixes, regression test cycles, and test data reloads.
- Develop tests that identify defects as precisely as possible.
- Create and communicate test reports, status, and testing information to the project team and Project Manager.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Experience in CRM ,Website and Mobile application projects
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
Experience: 5 plus years
