About The Role

We are looking for experienced Senior Software Tester to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and quality assurance of ship management products
• Establish and continuously improve test processes, tools and infrastructure
• Create test plans and derive test procedures from product definitions
• Define, automate and execute functional and non-functional test cases
• Identify, log, track, report bug, and prepare test reports
• Develop appropriate test strategies and implement them in in the development process
• Coordinate & collaborate with various stakeholders
• Use experience and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to unique challenges

About You

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or any technical related field
• Experience of 5 – 7 years as a Software Tester
• Experience in manual testing, API & UI test automation
• Knowledge of software testing life cycle (Test planning, Test design and execution, Defect Management, Test Reporting)
• Hands on experience of Functional, Regression, System, UAT Testing
• Excellent defect finding, debugging, root cause analysis capabilities
• Good understanding & experience with software development processes such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Extreme Programming and/or Lean
• Experience with Cloud development processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge or familiarity with microservice architecture, REST APIs, Container Based Technology desirable
• Quick perception, conceptual skills, creativity, and flexibility
• Analytical skills and ability to structure, arrange and plan complex work procedures and issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English)
• Hands on experience of working with tools like Azure DevOps preferred move this upward – Experience in working in Agile Methodology , preferred Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of the shipping industry desirable
• Actively work on updating own knowledge base and apply new concepts to work
