Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the highest quality software releases. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, security, and automation testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with the development team for resolution.
• Automate test scenarios using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations between different systems.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define testing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security, and performance standards.
• Lead and mentor junior testers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Continuously improve test strategies and testing frameworks to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, Appium, or Cypress.
• Expertise in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
• Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Mobile application testing experience (Android/iOS).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹380,334.64 - ₹480,000.00 per year
