Job Title: Senior Spryker / PHP Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Experience: 6+ Years






We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with PHP-based e-commerce platform experience.



Mandatory Requirements:

• Must have over 6 years of Web / Application development experience with PHP, along with at least 2 years of experience in any of the following e-commerce platforms - Magento 2, WooCommerce, Drupal Commerce, Open Cart or Zen Cart.
• Experience with the Spryker e-commerce platform and having the Spryker Developer Certification will be an added advantage.
• Expert-level proficiency in PHP. Must have experience working with the latest PHP version.
• Expert-level proficiency in the Symfony PHP framework.
• Working experience with any of the standard frameworks like Zend, Laravel, Cake PHP, and CodeIgniter.
• Extensive backend development experience in building custom modules in PHP.
• Experience working with development tools like PHPStorm, Eclipse and NetBeans for PHP
• Experience in relational databases like MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in search, messaging queue and caching systems like Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with tools like Composer, Git (preferably GitHub)
• Experience in Backend plug-ins/extensions development.
• Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout, CSS, Webpack, NPM.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts in PHP, Object Oriented Design (OOAD), Design Patterns, and MVC.
• Familiar with technologies including XML, Web services, FBML and Facebook Connect.

Added Advantages:

• Experience working with the Twig templating system.
• Experience with tools like Jira.
• Exposure to WordPress and Drupal CMS.
• Exposure to PWA, Node.js and React.js is an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Experience working with PHP Units.
