Senior / Staff Software Engineer

Overview

• Build, Innovate, and Own mission-critical backend systems across Java and. NET ecosystems.
• Design, develop, and maintain highperformance, scalable microservices using Java (Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) / NET/C#.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines, distributed systems, and storage solutions powering AI-driven and data-intensive products.
• Collaborate closely with AI, ML, and data engineering teams to productionize machine learning models and integrate them into backend systems.
• Build and maintain integrations with external services, APIs, and enterprise platforms to enable scalable, interoperable solutions.
• Ensure security, scalability, resilience, observability, and performance across distributed microservices architectures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to architectural strategy for next-generation platforms.
• Influence engineering direction by driving best practices in design, testing, automation, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and rigorous code reviews that elevate quality, performance, and reliability.
• Drive engineering excellence through system design principles, testing strategies, and deployment best practices
• Foster a growth-minded engineering culture that encourages experimentation, learning, and accountability.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, data, cloud, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across performance, automation, DevOps, and observability.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Min 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years building scalable backend systems using Java and/or. NET microservices architectures.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Handson expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, reliability engineering, distributed systems, and secure design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.
  
  

• Startup or 01 product-building experience.
• Exposure to AI/ML-powered systems, data engineering, or large-scale data processing.
• Experience in healthcare or fintech domains.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tooling.
• Experience with observability platforms such as Open Telemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
