Job Title: IT Infrastructure – Senior System Administrator
Apollo AyurVAID, an Apollo group of companies, is a chain of new generation hospitals providing precision Ayurveda medical care. We are currently looking for a senior system administrator to enhance and manage our systems and networks.
Job Description:
Network Management
· Set up, configure, and manage internal networks, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and firewalls.
· Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues.
· Ensure network security by implementing appropriate firewall and security protocols.
System Administration
· Maintain and manage physical and virtual servers (Linux/Windows). · Install, configure, and update operating systems and software.
· Ensure high availability of systems and perform regular backups and disaster recovery tests.
IT Support
· Buy or rent computer systems and liaise with finance and vendor.
· Setup computers and install software for various applications and programs.
· Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems.
· Provide technical support for IT infrastructure, computers, and printers related issues.
· Maintain up-to-date records of hardware and software assets.
IT Security and Compliance
· Implement security measures, including monitoring firewalls, intrusion detection, and scanning tools.
· Ensure endpoint security by maintaining latest version of anti-virus and anti-malware software.
· Monitor, plan and apply patches to correct vulnerabilities, and automate patch application. · Enable data security controls as per Data Security policy.
· Ensure systems are compliant with industry standards and internal policies.
Required Profile/Skills:
· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
· Working experience of 5 to 7 years.
· Experience in managing IT infrastructure, including network setup and system administration.
· Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, routing, and switches.
· Hands-on experience with server management (Linux, Windows).
· Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
· Proficiency with backup, disaster recovery, and system monitoring tools.
· Experience with cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure).
· IT certifications like Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
· Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
