Position Description

We are seeking an experienced .NET Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, modern architecture patterns, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration solutions. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and solution architects to drive technology strategy, application modernization, and architectural governance across large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing distributed systems, defining technical roadmaps, mentoring development teams, and ensuring delivery excellence across multiple projects.




Key Responsibilities

Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Define scalable, secure, and high-performing application architecture and technical solutions.

Lead application modernization initiatives including migration from legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures.

Drive architecture governance, coding standards, best practices, and technical design reviews.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and integration frameworks.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across the software development lifecycle.

Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Participate in effort estimation, solution planning, and technology selection.

Work closely with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud infrastructure strategies.

Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and solution feasibility analysis.

Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.




Must Skills\Required Skills

Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / .NET 6+, and enterprise application development.

Experience designing microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, Web Services, and enterprise integration patterns.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Expertise in SQL Server, database design, performance tuning, and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.

Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is an advantage.

Strong understanding of security standards, authentication, authorization, and API security.

Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.




Good To have\Preferred Experience

10+ years of experience in .NET application development with significant experience in architecture and solution design.

Experience leading enterprise digital transformation and modernization programs.

Exposure to cloud-native application development and serverless architectures.

Experience in banking, financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, or enterprise product domains.

Microsoft Azure certifications or architecture certifications preferred.

Experience with enterprise integration platforms and API management tools.

Prior experience in performance optimization, scalability engineering, and high-availability systems.

Knowledge of AI/ML integration, observability tools, and modern engineering practices is an added advantage.
