Title: Workday Adaptive Planning Functional Consultant - 10 to 15 years of experience

Overview

The ideal candidate will either have direct experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or possess strong functional expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting using financial planning tools or ERP systems in the finance domain.

This role requires a consultant who can work closely with our FP&A teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Adaptive Planning configurations and workflows. The consultant should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and able to contribute to both support and enhancement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with finance stakeholders to gather and analyze planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs.
• Configure and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to support business processes.
• Translate financial requirements into system design, configuration, and reporting solutions.
• Support implementation, testing, and rollout of Adaptive Planning features and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models within Adaptive Planning.
• Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and seamless integration with other systems.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is highly preferred.
• Alternatively, experience with other financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC) or solid ERP finance knowledge is acceptable. Minimum 10 years’ experience in these areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
