Experience Range: 13-15 Years (Minimum 4+ years as a Technical Project Manager with prior Development experience in .NET, Java, or UI/UX)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership skills to manage multiple projects or large programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience, having worked in environments using .NET, Java, or UI/UX technologies, and at least 4+ years in a project management role. Candidates from top MNC companies are preferred. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (50%)

• Leadership & End-to-End Management:
• Demonstrate a strong track record of managing multiple projects or large programs in a customer-facing role.
• Analyze requirements for feasibility and work closely with the solution/technical architect on the framework and technology stack.
• Project Planning & Execution:
• Develop project scope and objectives by engaging all relevant stakeholders.
• Create detailed project plans that include milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Track progress of multiple projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Communication & Reporting:
• Facilitate regular communication across project teams, including status updates, variance justifications, and technical progress reports.
• Escalate issues promptly and manage change requests efficiently.

Team Management & Mentoring (30%)

• Team Leadership:
• Mentor and provide regular feedback to Project Leads and team members.
• Manage team aspirations and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Skill Development:
• Identify training needs to cross-skill and up-skill team members, ensuring technical proficiency and adaptability.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Sales & Proposal Management (20%)

• Proposal Development:
• Contribute to sales proposals by collaborating on delivery approaches, team structure, and cost estimates.
• Agile Delivery:
• Utilize Agile methodologies and collaboration tools to manage project delivery effectively.
• Statements of Work:
• Write, review, and finalize Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background:
• BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Overall 13-15 years in the IT sector.
• At least 4+ years as a Technical Project Manager with direct development experience in .NET, Java, or UI/UX.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience in building project plans, managing end-to-end project lifecycles, and delivering complex technology solutions.
• Strong technical understanding and foundation to work closely with development teams.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to take complete ownership of projects and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Project Management:
• Hands-on experience in planning, executing, and tracking project deliverables.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and collaboration tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Certifications:
• PMP Certification.
• Scrum Master or SAFe certification.
• Additional Technical Expertise:
• Experience with emerging technologies and an ability to drive innovation across project teams.

Additional Information

• Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Candidates should have a blend of strong development background and technical project management experience.
• Experience from top MNC companies is highly desirable.
• Location & Availability:
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore or Pune.
• Immediate joiners or those serving notice (with joining deadline by the 3rd week of February) will be considered.

Pay: ₹2,767,962.43 - ₹3,420,738.36 per year
