Overall General Job Function:

Responsible for creating and maintaining automated test scripts which are integrated within CI/CD Pipelines. Bridges the gap between development and testing which contributes to robust and reliable software systems.

Briefly summarize the general duties/responsibilities:

In the role of a Software Development Test Engineer, you will be integral to the software development process, focusing on quality assurance through automated testing. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing automated test scripts based on business requirements, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all features. You will analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work towards resolving defects. You will contribute to solution design discussions to ensure alignment of development and QA objectives. Additionally, you will maintain documentation of test outcomes and stay abreast of new testing tools and methodologies to continuously improve the testing process. Your contributions are essential for delivering software that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems
• 4+ years proven experience in:
  
  

Programming

Test automation

Manual testing

Writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Proficient in integrating testing in CI/CD Pipelines
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
