• About the Role:
  We’re looking for a Senior UI Developer to take a hands-on leadership role in evolving our shared UI libraries and design system. You’ll work alongside a talented UI developer and collaborate closely with UX designers, product teams, and engineers to shape the future of our front-end architecture across multiple SaaS products.
  You will:
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable UI components using Custom Elements/Web Components (preferably with Lit Element).
  • Architect and extend our internal design system, ensuring accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers, promoting best practices across HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Improve our front-end tooling and automation — including linting, formatting (Biome.js), component documentation (Storybook), and CI-ready component pipelines.
  • Champion modern front-end standards and participate in technical design discussions for UI/UX initiatives.
  • Help define and evolve our approach to DevOps for front-end — including CI/CD workflows, testing strategies, and monorepo tooling (TurboRepo, Pnpm).
  About You:
  You’re an experienced UI developer with a strong front-end foundation and a passion for scalable design systems. We’re especially looking for:
  • Proven expertise in modern HTML, SASS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Deep experience with Web Components — ideally using Lit Element or a similar framework.
  • Familiarity with mono-repo setups and tooling (TurboRepo, Pnpm).
  • Strong understanding of web standards, browser APIs, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimisation.
  • Experience using and maintaining tools such as Storybook, Biome.js, and VS Code for collaborative UI development.
  • Ability to guide and mentor others, conduct code reviews, and establish front-end best practices.
  • Exposure to CI/CD workflows and a strong appreciation for automation in front-end development.
  Bonus if you have:
  • Experience working with Node.js for front-end build tooling.
  • Awareness of Shadow DOM vs Light DOM and their implications for component design.
  • Previous contribution to internal or open-source design systems.

• 8–10 years in UI/UX design & product development.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
