Senior Web Developer (Java)

What You Can Expect

The person in this position will be responsible for coding, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting Java based web applications for sales and operations teams. This role requires functioning as a technical lead on projects, estimating work time, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and providing guidance to other developers on the team. The person in this role will work closely with customer service and other IT resources in the course of application development and troubleshooting.

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days in Office)

How You'll Create Impact

• Become an expert in the business web application used by our sales and operations teams
• Maintaining and updating technical documentation for SMS
• Take functional or business requirements and create technical specifications
• Create working code from technical specifications
• Unit testing and system testing code before release to user testing
• Perform and participate in code reviews with peers
• Assist support team in troubleshooting issues as needed
• Oversee deployment of application to production environments and support other system activities

• Experience Range: 5+ years
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years development experience for applications in a business environment OR Bachelor and Master's degree with 4+ years development experience for applications in a business environment is required
