Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow AI Engineer (Now Assist) with strong development and implementation expertise on the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions while also mentoring and guiding a team of engineers on complex, large-scale ServiceNow projects.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and implement best-practice ServiceNow configurations and customizations. Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with end-users, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
- Integrate machine learning, NLP, and predictive analytics into ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and HRSD.
- Manage full lifecycle application development : design, coding, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Build custom solutions using ServiceNow applications based on functional and technical requirements.
- Configure and implement integrations using REST/SOAP web services and other technologies.
- Work with impact assessment rules, service maps, and validate technical dependencies with SMEs.
- Support user acceptance testing, promote update sets across environments, and resolve production incidents.
- Work closely with ServiceNow technical leads to ensure consistent design and development practices.
What You Bring :
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow implementation, configuration, administration, and/or development across at least two modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM).
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Virtual Agent, Agentic AI, Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Performance Analytics, and other AI-related modules.
- Expertise in integrations using mid servers, cloud-to-cloud integrations, SOAP/REST, and bidirectional data flows.
- Experience with data extraction/ETL technologies (e.g., JDBC, ODBC).
- Proven experience with CMDB, Discovery, SAM, Service Catalog, and workflow implementations.
- Strong scripting skills : Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and other server-side/client-side scripting.
- Strong experience with UI Builder and custom application integration (Mandatory)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong planning, coordination, and resource management skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to continuously learn and upskill within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Education :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Willingness to pursue further ServiceNow certifications and accreditations.
Preferred Certifications :
- ITIL Foundation
- ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)
- ServiceNow CAD (Certified Application Developer)
