Role: Snowflake Database Engineer – Performance Tuning

Mandatory: SnowPro Core Certification

Experience: 8+ years.

Mode: Hybrid – 2 Days a week.

Location: Dommasandra – 562125, Bangalore, India.

Prefer Local to Bangalore

Immediate Relocation is also fine.

1st preference to Immediate Joiners.

Must-have,

· SnowPro Core Certification

· Finance domain, Banking, Capital Market

· Min. 2+ yrs Snowflake Developer experience.

· Performance Turning Expertise

· SQL: window functions, CTEs, UDFs, stored procedures.

· Snowflake: materialized views, zero-copy cloning, Snowflake caching.

· DBT, Git, Snowpark / Python Integration

Key Responsibilities

• Design/optimize Snowflake schemas, tables, views for high-performance applications.
• Develop complex, optimized SQL queries/stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks (micro-partitioning, clustering, caching).
• Collaborate with analytics/app teams on database modeling.
• Enforce version control (Git) for database scripts.

Must-Have Skills

• Snowflake development (not admin): Query profiling, tuning, execution plans.
• SQL mastery: Analytic functions, CTEs, UDFs.
• Performance metrics: Proven query optimization (e.g., reduced runtime by X%).

Nice-to-Have

• Python for Snowflake (Snowpark, UDFs).
• dbt for transformations.
• Basic Snowflake admin (secondary).

Ideal Candidate

• Ex-financial services/fintech (e.g., risk analytics, large-scale data).
• Immediate joiner (notice period ≤ 1–2 weeks).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
