Molex is seeking a dynamic Software Configuration Engineer to be part of our strong Engineering Team to develop new products that we are bringing to market . As a member of our Software Development team, you will design, create, maintain , and automate software processes that support project development. You will also be responsible for creating the software release according to the agreed framework

What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab , and other relevant tools.
- Software configuration and release management
- Strong knowledge in Building and Deploying Automotive based applications .
- Develop and manage infrastructure using configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Monitor and maintain system health, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Continuously improve and optimize deployment processes and practices.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proficient in using GitHub and GitHub Actions for source code management and automation.
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AKS, Azure, Openshift ) is a plus.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors or master's in Engineering in the field of Electrical / Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer science or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Devops , Software configuration and release management of preferably Automotive based products
What Will Put You Ahead
Required :
- Basic experience with Linux & Windows infrastructures
- Familiarity with Devops , CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
- Basic knowledge of working with virtualmachines and containers
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python is a plus
- Ability to debug applications andenvironments
- Knowledge of build automation tool: make
- Scrum/ SAFe , Agile workflow methodologies
- Good interpersonal skills and communication
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-learning
Preferred :
- Fundamentals in automotive SPICE (SUP.8 - Configuration Management)
- Knowledge inQi technology of the WPC, inductive systems, and proximity detection
- Good to have knowledge on Vector tools like Vectorcast , Canoe etc
- Basic German language skills
