About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Verify the technical state of customer accounts before and after transactions identifying issues, anomalies, or risks before they become problems
2. Walk customers through multi-step technical processes, IAM configurations, identity migrations, billing consolidations, account ownership transitions across major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, others)
3. Maintain provider-specific runbooks. Cloud providers change their interfaces and policies constantly, keeping our playbooks current is core to the role.
4. Build internal tooling: scripts, dashboards, automation, monitoring. Anything that lets us handle 10x the volume without 10x the people.
5. Handle technical escalations, the edge cases where standard runbooks don't apply
6. Work closely with operations, sales, and customer-facing teams when technical questions block deals

Other Requirements:
- 1. Engineering experience with strong cloud platform depth, particularly AWS (Organizations, IAM, billing, SSO), with working knowledge of GCP and Azure
- 2. Production experience with multi-account architectures, identity federation, and account migration scenarios
- 3. Comfortable scripting in Python or Go for automation and tooling
- 4. Working knowledge of REST APIs, basic full-stack web development for internal tools
- 5. Strong written and spoken English, you'll be live on Zoom with non-Indian customers regularly, walking them through technical work
- 6. Patience and clarity when explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (CFOs, Heads of Finance, founders)
- 7. Strong documentation instinct, if you've ever been frustrated by undocumented systems, that's the right reflex
- 8. Experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Customer Engineer at AWS, GCP, Microsoft, or a cloud-adjacent SaaS company
- 9. Experience with AI platform APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and their account/billing structures
- 10. Experience building internal tooling that meaningfully changed throughput at a previous company
- 11. Comfort with security and compliance topics, you've thought about least-privilege access, audit logs, and credential rotation in production
