Introduction

You will play a pivotal role in developing and supporting application solutions, resolving production issues, and performing testing activities. Collaborating closely with client personnel and other teams, you will contribute to identifying functional requirements and designing tailored solutions.

Your Role And Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Developer in the ITVM Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting application solutions, assisting in production issue resolution, and performing testing activities. You will work closely with the latest technologies in AI, leveraging Watsonx offerings to advance a Predictive model, GenAI data summarization and support a Machine Learning approach with Digital Assistants. and other IBM teams to identify functional requirements and contribute to the identification, justification, and design of the client’s solution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support application solutions, assisting in production issue resolution.
• Write code or perform other technical, configuration tasks.
• Perform testing activities.
• Understand and use Watsonx offerings such as WCA, Watsonx.ai and others to increment a working AI application
• Work as a team member pro-actively identify opportunities for new functional requirements that reduces security risks
• Participate in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through systems, application, and/or process design specification and implementation.
• Gain knowledge across multiple platforms, processes, or architectures.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Full Stack SW Developer with experience in Java, Node.js, DB2, SQL, Git, Architecture, etc.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models.
• Proficiency in Python with data analysis libraries such as NumPy and Pandas.
• Familiarity with IBM watsonx product offerings such as .ai, .data and orchestrate.
• Familiarity with IBM’s software engineering technologies and processes
• Deeper dive into Prompt Engineering.
• Knowledge of data science techniques and the data engineering ecosystem and lifecycle.
• Strong data visualization skills to effectively communicate and turn data into a meaningful story.
• Understanding of AI algorithms and the ability to create new foundations for AI capabilities.
• AI literacy: Understanding how to use AI tools and platforms to streamline work and enhance productivity
• General Agile SW implementation knowledge (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.)
• General DevOps practices application (CI/CD, Automations, API dev/integration, Compliance/Security handling, etc.)
• Ability to share ideas, identify technical issues, mitigate risks, and address concerns with the development team / Manager
