About the job:
Key responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Cisco's Switching Technology team to ensure the highest quality in enterprise networking products.
2. Work on test planning, automation, and execution for mission-critical networking equipment used worldwide.
3. Design and implement modular, scalable test frameworks using Python/C++.
4. Validate and troubleshoot networking protocols across L2/L3 environments.
5. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to improve software quality and delivery speed.

Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in software test engineering within computer networking.
- Strong programming knowledge in Python, C, and C++, with experience using Git.
- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks for building scalable and modular automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and knowledge of test-driven development.
- Experience in developing sophisticated test plans from software system specifications.
- Familiarity with protocols such as ISIS/OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing, IPv6, MPLS (LDP/RSVP-TE), Multicast, SNMP, Telemetry, gNMI, gRPC, Netconf, and OpenConfig Yang Models.
