About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.
2. Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs to support front-end functionality.
3. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
4. Architect server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness.

A. Database Management

1. Design and manage MongoDB databases, collections, and schemas.
2. Optimize queries for speed and scalability.
3. Implement data storage solutions with a focus on security and reliability.
4. Handle data migrations and version control.

B. Collaboration

1. Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and designers.
2. Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers when applicable.

C. Testing and Debugging

1. Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
2. Debug production issues and deploy timely fixes.
3. Participate in code reviews to uphold development standards.

D. Documentation

1. Maintain clear technical documentation for APIs and backend processes.
2. Document architecture decisions and workflows for future reference.

E. DevOps and Deployment

1. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
2. Manage cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
3. Work with Docker or similar containerization tools.
