Job Title: Junior Developer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2-3+ years in software development, particularly in 4G/5G Protocols
Education
- B.E./B.S./B.Tech./M.S./M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Electronics/Computer Science (related branches will be considered)
- Strong academic background with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Assist in tasks ranging from systemization, design, to software development, debugging and testing of 5G features.
- Participate in SW design, implementation, and verification/integration under senior guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feature development aligns with project goals.
- Document development processes and test outcomes comprehensively.
- Proficiency in languages like C, C++, or Python for software development and network implementation.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking to identify, analyze, and solve technical challenges.
- Ability and willingness to learn and to work in agile cross-functional teams
- Understanding 3GPP radio access standardization concepts including algorithms, procedures, and protocols.
- Should have good understanding of 3GPP protocols like LTE and 5G NR. Should have strong understanding of end-to-end RAN system. Solid understanding of Communications Systems, knowledge of PHY/MAC layers in 4G, 5G.
- Experience in developing and testing software for 5G Layer 1/Layer 2 protocols.
- Familiarity with test methodologies, tools, and simulators at the system and node
- Basic understanding of the Linux operating system and optimizing data processing paths using DPDK and Smart Network Interface Cards.
- Proficient in using version control tools like Git, Gerrit, and Jira.
- Experience with CI/CD principles and tools, such as Jenkins and Spinnaker.
- Knowledge about agile and lean methodologies.
- Self-driven and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficient in English.
