United Navigation is an innovative professional services organisation based at Stansted Airport. We are currently looking for a C# .NET Developer to join our small development team focusing on marine navigation applications. Your responsibilities will include the development of back office and client facing web apps, promoting best development practises within the team and driving the adoption of the latest technologies. To be considered for this role you must have:

• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science (or similar) or other science discipline
• Extensive skills in C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET and MVC
• Web Services WSDL, Sope/Rest
• API/SDK integration
• Experience of working with databases. SQL Server and PostGRE experience would be desirable and advantageous
• Some exposure on GIS technologies will be an advantage
• Use of version control software (Git) and Jira
• Understanding of coding in an Agile Environment
• Confident in both Web and back office application development
• Passionate about latest technologies
• Writing analysis /and technical specifications in respect of customers special requirements
• Initiative and confidence to tackle problems on your own
• Exceptional early career graduates will be considered but ideally 1 - 2 years' experience in a commercial environment is required.
