Auto Wisdom is building high-performance automotive intelligence platforms that simplify car ownership, improve decision-making, and power digital transformation for automotive brands. This is a full-time backend software developer role for early-career engineers.

Role
You will work on the Auto Wisdom backend stack and ship production APIs, data models, and service workflows used by real customers. The work is hands-on: Go services, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Redis-backed flows, authentication, integrations, and deployment reliability.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend services in Go (Golang).
• Develop REST APIs using Gin and structured service/DAO patterns.
• Work with GORM, PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and optimized queries.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and secure error handling.
• Use Redis/cache-backed flows where appropriate and design graceful failure behavior.
• Write maintainable backend code with clear interfaces, logging, and production-ready error handling.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, deployment, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product and frontend teams to ship customer-facing features.

Required Profile

• 2023 or 2024 graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2-3 years of backend/software development experience, including internships, full-time roles, or strong production-grade projects.
• Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
• Good understanding of REST API design, databases, Git, and backend system design.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with ownership and accountability.

Preferred Skills

• Gin, GORM, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, AWS, CI/CD, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with JWT/OAuth, role-based access control, background jobs, queues, or distributed systems.
• Ability to read existing code, follow architecture conventions, and improve quality without unnecessary rewrites.

Compensation & Work Location

• Salary range: INR 12 LPA to INR 15 LPA.
• Location: Mumbai or Bangalore.
• Work policy: In-office role with work-from-home flexibility.
• Candidate should be willing to relocate to Mumbai or Bangalore if not already based there.
