ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
We are seeking a talented Java Developer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Java applications using the Spring Framework and micro service architecture
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Design, develop, and implement Java applications using best practices and coding standards.
- Utilize the Spring Framework and micro service architecture to build maintainable and scalable applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and unit-testable code
- Adhere to secure coding practices and performance optimization guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Leverage DevOps tools to manage the software development lifecycle.
- Good understanding of Git.
Project Involvement:
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Participate in high-level grooming of requirements and estimation/sizing of tasks.
- Engage in daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospective meetings with cross-functional teams.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain regular updates of work status in JIRA/ADO.
- Contribute to the development and documentation as part of release activity.
Travel:
- Be prepared to travel onsite as required by project needs.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Java Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented programming principles.
- Good understanding of the Spring Framework and micro service architecture.
- Experience writing unit tests using a testing framework (e.g., JUnit).
- Awareness of secure coding practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, etc.) is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working Kubernetes.
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
