Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-quality Android applications for payment terminals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Android development.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android.
- Experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools and processes.
- Knowledge of Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL) for inter-process communication.
- Understanding of modern Android architecture components (e.g., ViewModel, LiveData, Room).
- Experience with Room database.
- Experience with payment processing and security standards is a plus.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
