This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Join Roche, where every voice matters.
The Position
Diabetes is a pesky monster — and that’s putting it mildly. If you’re serious about helping us face it head-on, join us!
Being a global leader in integrated Personalized Diabetes Management (iPDM), Roche collaborates with pioneers around the globe, including people with diabetes, caregivers, healthcare providers, and payers. We aim to transform and advance care provision and foster sustainable care structures. Under the brands Accu-Chek and mySugr, comprising glucose monitoring, insulin delivery systems, and digital solutions, we unite with our partners to create patient-centered value. By building and collaborating in an open ecosystem, connecting devices and digital solutions, and contextualizing relevant data points, we enable deeper insights and a better understanding of diabetes, leading to personalized and effective therapy adjustments.
Developing software is great, but developing software with a purpose is even better! As a Senior Software Engineer (Android), you’ll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have — their health. In collaborative teams of developers, designers, product owners, and QA experts, you’ll experience best-in-class software development practices daily and contribute to software that meets the highest expectations — we do not put our users' lives at risk!
Here’s what we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer(Android) who will have a significant impact on the software development process and moving the entire team forward. Your main contribution will be writing code while acting as a role model for the entire development team. You apply your experience in architectural and technical decision-making, ensuring high code quality and contributing your technical knowledge as a foundation for strategic product decisions, identifying and driving improvements of the product development process and its infrastructure. You may act as an internal technical consultant for pre-sales, sales, and marketing activities, including hiring decisions.
You will primarily be working in a global set-up with teams in India, Austria, and Spain.
Your upcoming mission:
You will have direct contact with our users, learning about their daily struggles living with diabetes, as well as customers and partners, understanding the unique needs and mechanics of healthcare systems worldwide.
Interested? Great. We’d like to hear from you! Just click that “Apply Now” button and send us your CV… and anything else you think might impress us.
