What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and operate high scale applications across the full engineering stack
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
- Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset.
- Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality.
- Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality.
- Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Equifax Solutions
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information.
- Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on Angular (versions 10+ preferred).
- Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Less.
- Proven experience with AWS/Cloud platforms , including deploying and managing frontend applications and understanding relevant services.
- Solid understanding of database concepts (relational and/or NoSQL) and experience interacting with data layers from the frontend.
- Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git , and experience with collaborative workflows (e.g., GitFlow).
- Familiarity with Java basics for understanding backend integration points and debugging.
- Strong experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and a commitment to test-driven development.
- Experience consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Experience with other frontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Akita).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
