Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage a distributed network comprised of Cisco firewalls and routers comprised of 2130 ASAs, 1150 FPR, and IR 829s
- Manage Juniper enterprise switches and other vendor switches
- Implement access controls, firewall rules, and VLANS for networks
- Set up and manage VPNs across Cisco devices
- Administer and maintain Windows domain environments, to include :
- Managing an Active Directory forest
- Setting up and managing Group Policies managing DNS
- Setting up and managing a root CA in a closed network
- Manage and maintain virtual environments using VMware
- Experience with vSphere and vCenter desired
- Provide support and troubleshooting for network and system issues
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of systems and services
- Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary updates and patches
- Document network configurations, procedures, and policies
- Provide training and support to end-users as :
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Expertise in Cisco networking, including configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows domain administration
- Desired experience with VMware
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE, VCP, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
