Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. As an SRE, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure, automate processes, and improve system reliability through monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
System Reliability & Performance:
- Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of production systems.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Automation & Tooling:
- Develop and maintain automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Automate repetitive tasks, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
Incident Management:
- Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system reliability.
Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain on-premises infrastructure and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experince in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or similar.
Monitoring & Observability:
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
- Analyze system metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Advocate for best practices in reliability, scalability, and security.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in system architecture and processes.
- Contribute to post-mortems and implement lessons learned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python) and scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with tools like Terraform or similar.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Monitoring & Logging: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and others
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SRE/DevOps work culture
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, etc.).
- Experience with load testing
