Software Engineer - Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer with 3.5–4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and visualization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric services, data pipelines, and Power BI to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory or equivalent tools.
• Work with Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake for data storage and processing.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Develop and optimize DAX measures and Power Query transformations.
• Design semantic models and optimize data models for performance.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage data access.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Monitor and optimize performance of reports and data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.
  
  

• 3.5–4 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric services, including:
• Data Factory
• Lakehouse
• Warehouse
• Notebooks
• OneLake
• Strong knowledge of:
• SQL, P-SQL, Procedures
• Data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)
• DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Experience with ETL tools or data pipelines.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Azure data services (Good to have).
  

• Experience with Spark or Python in Fabric Notebooks.
• Knowledge of Dataflows Gen2.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for Power BI.
• Understanding of data governance and security in Fabric.
• Experience with REST APIs or external data integrations
