Software Engineer - Specialist

Equifax is seeking a Software Engineering Lead to spearhead innovative batch and data product development using Java and Google Cloud Platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative batch and data products
• Provide technical direction for Java and GCP implementations
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement rigorous testing strategies and optimize performance
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards
  
  

What experience you need:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Java and its ecosystems
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, BigQuery
• Minimum of 7 years in software development, focusing on batch processing and data solutions
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with securely handling sensitive data (PII / PHI)
• Proven track record of writing defect-free code
• At least 3 years in a lead role
