Primary Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing software and system specifications
- Developing and creating test plans and effective strategies
- Analyzing the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process
- Identifying bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application
- Running debug programs to fix the defects
- Updating all bug databases with accurate information
- Providing assistance with troubleshooting issues
- Collaborating with QA engineers and software developers
- Researching new testing processes and technologies
- Identifying and isolating bugs and errors in codes
- Working in cross-functional teams to ensure quality during a software development project
- Setting quality standards
- Driving efficiency and innovation in the testing procedures
- Documenting the testing procedure, testing progress and results
- Interacting with clients to understand product or software
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- Full time graduation degree
- Proven ability to reviewing and analyzing software and system specifications
- Proven ability to develop and create test plans and effective strategies
- Proven ability to analyze the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process
- Proven ability to identify bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application
- Proven ability to run debug programs to fix the defects
- Proven ability to update all bug databases with accurate information
- Proven ability to provide assistance with troubleshooting issues
- Proven ability to collaborate with QA engineers and software developers
- Proven ability to research new testing processes and technologies
