About The Role
At Rippling, engineering is at the heart of our business. We are looking for highly motivated upcoming or recent graduates to join our team. As a backend software engineer on the Travel Integrations team, you'll play a pivotal role in redefining the future of corporate travel. You will help build a new platform responsible for ingesting flight, hotel, and car rental search requests, sending requests to multiple external providers, and then normalizing, filtering, and deduplicating the offers we surface to users.
You'll tackle complex challenges where speed, reliability, and configurability are paramount. Your work will be critical to the success of the newly launched Rippling Travel product and will directly support our mission to free smart people to work on hard problems.

What You Will Do
- Take ownership of projects, guiding them from initial product requirements through to launch, benefiting all Travel customers.
- Maintain a relentless commitment to elevating engineering standards within the team
- Develop extensible and scalable solutions that expands our product offerings
- Identify inefficiencies within the team and drive process and system enhancements.
- You will be graduating in 2025 or recently graduated with a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, or related fields
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems architecture
- Familiarity with the following programming languages: Python, Go
- You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers
