Software Engineer 2 – Product Delivery Testing (Layer 3)

Requirements: Software Engineer 2

• Should have strong automation knowledge with proficiency in Python.
• Should demonstrate strong proficiency in following technologies:
• Routing – OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MULTICASTING, OISM, SEGMENT ROUTING
• MPLS/VPN – EVPN, L2CKT, L2VPN, L3VPN
• Should have excellent skills in automation framework like ROBOT, creating new automation libraries and complex automation algorithms
• Knowledge of networking test equipment like Spirent and Ixia, including automation.
• Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving skills.
• Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster.

Job Description: Staff Engineer

• Entry level position as Individual contributor role in the Product Delivery test group.
• writing Customer specific test plan in for core routing products (OSPF, BGP, Multicasting, EVPN, Segment routing) for major service providers across globe as per the given customer requirements
• Execution of the test plan and automating the scenarios which are not covered in existing automation.
• Helping submit the new automation to the regression team
• Ensuring no automation issues found in the code submission and helping to fix any script PRs.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics / Compute, or higher degree is desired.
• 1-2 years’ of relevant experience.
• JNCIx or equivalent certification can be added advantage.
