Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer (.NET Developer) who is eager to learn and passionate about working on exciting projects for a US-based client in the insurance industry. As a developer, you’ll be part of the team that builds and maintains applications and websites to solve business problems.

The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in .NET development, knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies, and a willingness to learn new tools and frameworks. You’ll work closely with senior developers and team leads in a collaborative environment where your contributions are valued.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining enterprise web applications.
• Work within an agile team environment.
• Collaborate with senior developers and team leads to implement technical designs.
• Fix bugs and support system testing by following up and closing defect tickets.
• Document changes, procedures, or test cases when required.
• Interact with other team members to ensure consistent coding practices.
• Provide basic support for existing systems under guidance.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1year experience in .NET programming.
• Basic knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC.
• Familiarity with web services (REST APIs, Web APIs).
• Exposure to data serialization formats like JSON/XML.
• Knowledge of at least one UI framework (React, Angular, or Vue) – React preferred.
• Understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON).
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio and SQL Server.
• Basic SQL development skills (queries, stored procedures, functions).
• Knowledge of SQL query analysis and simple performance troubleshooting.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT preferred).

Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or Bitbucket).
• Microsoft Azure Developer or Architect certification (or willingness to pursue).
• Ability to work independently with guidance.
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
