Job Responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge of Control-M Job types, Scheduling & Architecture
- Control-M administration experience as Level 2/3 level for complex infrastructure and environment.
- Ability to schedule jobs, monitor and correct the issues related to backups, applications, file transfers (MFT), SAP, etc.
- Handled Priority 1 and critical issues related to Control-M. Knowledge on integrations using plugins and API based connections with
- Ability to Install, configure, migrate, upgrade, conversion & maintain Control-M environment across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux/UNIX).
- Document technical solutions and build SOPs for the monitoring team/L1.
- Knowledge on Linux, Unix and Windows environment is mandatory.
- Rich exposure in automation & programming through UNIX shell scripting, Python, or any other scripting language is added advantage.
- Knowledge on ITIL and Certification preferred.
- Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM tool
- Experience on the Migration of Scripts to Control-M
- Experience on tools - Filezila / WinSCP/ Putty
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience on Administration & Support Activities in Linux
- Good knowledge of Control-M Manage File Transfer Enterprise, or B2B
- Good knowledge of MS SQL, Postgre
- Good knowledge of Core Java, SFTP and FTPS
- Good knowledge of Network and firewall configuration
- Familiar with PGP encryption algorithm
- Familiar with any Cloud platform
- Good understanding of the Project Development Lifecycle
- Good understanding of the Agile Scrum Practices
- Nice to have: Knowledge & experience working with different automation tooling within IT Operations.
- Motivated with good communication skills & fluent English, oral and written.
- Understand the requirements and provide value-added suggestions.
- Rigorous and concerned by delivering high quality work in a challenging environment.
- Curious, open and are able to suggest solutions
