Overview

About the Role

As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, configuring, testing, and supporting software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, build scalable solutions, and ensure seamless application performance.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in design, development, and implementation of software applications

Work on coding, debugging, and troubleshooting application issues

Collaborate with product, QA, and support teams to ensure application quality

Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing

Maintain technical documentation for developed features

Support deployment activities and application performance monitoring

Learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and processes as required

Required Skills

Strong understanding of programming concepts (Java / Python / C# / JavaScript)

Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, REST APIs

Basics of databases (SQL / NoSQL)

Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

CI/CD tools knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology

Exposure to software testing (manual/automation)
