Responsibilities
- Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks.
- Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.
- Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing.
- 2 - 4 years of strong back-end engineering experience in Java.
- Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, REST API, Jenkins.
- In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools, for instance, Git.
- Understanding building tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, etc.,
- Exposure towards: Oracle PL /SQL, JIRA, Swagger Hub.
- Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Legacy Technologies like Pro*C, Oracle Forms.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
- Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Know-how of Java concurrency patterns.
- Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming Patterns and Concepts.
- Growth mindset that challenges the status quo and focuses on outside-the-box ideas and solutions.
- Good Understanding of MVC Pattern, JDBC and RESTful web services.
- Ability to write clean, readable Java code.
- Experience in handling external and embedded databases.
- Basic knowledge of JVM (Java Virtual Machine).
- Expertise in continuous integration.
