Travel and fulfillment team is at the core of ensuring seamless, secure, and reliable transactions for millions of users. We handle high-volume payments, optimize processing efficiency, and mitigate financial risks, directly impacting revenue and customer trust. Our engineers collaborate with business leaders to define the product roadmap and develop scalable, high-performance systems. We build and maintain backend services and APIs that integrate with global payment partners to ensure a smooth and efficient payment experience.
In this role you will get to:
- Design and develop scalable payment processing systems with a focus on security, performance, and compliance.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions to improve system quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
- Ensure seamless integration of payment systems with third-party providers for optimal performance and reliability.
- Write and maintain clear documentation for APIs, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with TPMs, Product Managers, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams to align on payment solutions and business requirements.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and third-party providers to drive alignment and successful project execution.
- Showcase your development skills of Core Java or similar programming languages.
- Apply your programming skills towards building low latency and high throughput transactional services with continuous integration and automation testing.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering and development.
- Strong coding experience with Core Java
- Thorough SQL compositions skills for composing queries and analysis.
- Comfort and experience with Spring boot and REST APIs. .
- Experience in Microservices is a MUST
- Experience with developing on Cloud, especially GCP OR AWS/ Azure.
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

Flexible work at Priceline
Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
