Software Engineer

As an SDE 1, you will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our backend systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers, learn best practices, and grow your technical expertise.

• Develop, test, and maintain backend systems using Python Django.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to understand business requirements.
• Work with databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB to manage data efficiently.
• Implement caching strategies using Redis to optimize performance.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system interactions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, ensuring system stability and efficiency.
• Continuously learn and improve technical skills with mentorship from senior engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in backend development (or strong internship experience).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with the Django web framework.
• Basic understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with caching (Redis) and message queues (Celery is a plus).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web development concepts.
• Understanding of version control (Git) and collaboration tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
