Overview
Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Develop, design, testing and maintain dynamic web applications leveraging the LAMP stack (40%)
- Back-End Development: Build secure and efficient server-side applications using PHP and MySQL. (20%)
- Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas, write high-performance queries, and ensure data security. (10%)
- Jira and Confluence Administration: Manage user governance, conduct testing, and oversee migrations. (10%)
- MES Network Collaboration: Manage user governance, configure tools, develop SQL scripts, coordinate system changes, and handle network configurations. (20%)
- Minimum of 3+ years relevant experience delivering enterprise-scale web-based solutions and experiences
- Hands-on, professional coding experience with the latest versions of modern Javascript
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Plus: Experience with Salesforce or MES systems
- Bachelor's Degree Required, MS in Computer Science Engineering, MIS or relevant field is preferred
- 3+ years of frontend and backend application development experience
- In depth knowledge of at least one of the following, and the capacity to learn the others:
- Object-oriented PHP with Symfony or other similar PHP Frameworks
- Salesforce(.com) Development, Java
- Hands-on experience using Git, Github, or other similar source code version control systems
- Hands on experience with SQL schema design, and Design Patterns desirable
- Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases
- An understanding of JavaScript fundamentals including DOM manipulation
- Creative and efficient problem solver
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
