The Role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer (Node.js) to design, build, and scale the backend systems that power our AI-driven automation platform.

In this role, you’ll focus on building robust APIs, services, and data pipelines that support complex workflows and real-time insights. You’ll work closely with frontend, product, and AI teams to turn ideas into reliable, production-grade systems.

Our backend stack includes:
Node.js, TypeScript, Express, PostgreSQL, Docker

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express
• Own backend logic for AI-powered workflows and integrations
• Work with PostgreSQL to design efficient schemas and queries
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend systems
• Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and AI teams
• Write clean, modular, and well-tested code
• Contribute to backend architecture, system design, and best practices

What You’ll Bring

• 2–5 years of experience working with Node.js in production environments
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, data flows, and async systems
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Familiarity with Docker and basic deployment concepts
• Comfortable working with data-heavy and API-driven systems
• Ownership mindset — proactive, curious, and eager to learn
