Your Role And Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the DRz build system, which spans multiple languages and technologies.
• Ensure smooth compilation, packaging, and SMPE installation of the product on z/OS.
• Collaborate with global teams, including a structured handover from Hursley.
• Contribute to feature development, particularly around ML integration and runtime improvements.
• Troubleshoot build issues and support internal testing and deployment workflows.

Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 5+ Years of experience
• Strong working knowledge of the z/OS platform, including:
• SMPE packaging and installation
• ISPF, SDSF, USS (via SSH), JCL, and dataset management
• Experience with C, COBOL, PL/I, and PL/X programming
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective cross-site collaboration

• 8+ Years of experience
• Familiarity with build systems (e.g., Make, Ant, Gradle, or custom scripts); not essential, as a full handover will be provided
• Experience analyzing and resolving product dumps (core dumps, abends)
• Java programming experience, especially in hybrid or embedded environments
• Exposure to z/OS development tooling and debugging practices
