As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for developing software applications per project requirements, conducting unit tests to ensure functionality. Implement and maintain test automation frameworks, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate within an Agile environment, participating in story estimation and retrospectives. Utilize version control systems for code management and collaborate with fellow engineers.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Programming software applications, components, or features based on project requirements.
• Writing and conducting unit tests to ensure the functionality and quality of the software.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage of automated testing.
• Troubleshoot existing systems and applications.
• Collaborate with Software engineers, QA engineers, Design team and Project managers.
• Using version control systems to manage and track changes to code and collaborate with other engineers.
• Working in an Agile environment & participating in story estimation, refinement, retro meetings etc.
  
  

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering)
• 2+ years of experience
• Application development experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, JavaScript, PHP
• Good understanding of State Management, Context API, Custom hooks and Knowledge in Ecma script standards, Linting and code formatting. Caching.
• Good Understanding of databases - MySQL
• Good understanding of Monolithic and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Unit Testing
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Should understand and code to modularize / reuse components, implement performance optimisation and follow best practices while integrating third party libraries
• Understanding of API design and usage
• Able to define technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud-based CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Good to know Docker and containerization techniques
