About the Team: This role is for FCI Lending Data and Reporting team under Lending Technology and will be helping the bank build Data and Analytics effort.
Impact
The Database ETL Engineer be part of the Lending Data Team which supports the business as well as the BI & Analytics teams on our efforts. This position directly impacts project success by serving as a hands-on technical expertise.
Key Deliverables (Duties And Responsibilities)
- Develop and Optimize SQL Server Queries, Stored Procedures, SSIS, User Defined Functions and Views to support internal analytics efforts
- Design, Build, and Maintain efficient ETL pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with data analytics and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver quality solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all workflows and systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or applicable development experience.
Technical Skills
- 5+ years’ experience in data engineering with SSIS.
- Strong Proficiency in T-SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Ability to translate business requirements into accurate and timely data outputs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communications Skills.
- 3+ years working with GIT for source control using branching and merging with SQL Database Projects & Integration Projects
- Excellent team collaboration skills.
- Great Communication Skill Verbal & Written
- Good Problem-solving skill
- Banking / Lending experience is good to have
