As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job responsibilities
- Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Writes secure and high-quality code on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Aura, LWC, Flows)
- Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firm wide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Gaining experience in Agile Methodology and working as a Scrum member embedded in Agile Team, interacting daily with developers & product owners
- Provide ongoing business support to the users for the CRM platform
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
- Experience in Salesforce development (Apex, Aura, LWC, Flows)
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Good knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements and company goals using both configuration and development. Leverage solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills in Salesforce CRM platform. Apex programming language. Solid understanding of building Salesforce Lightning UI, LWC
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Lightning Connect to call external API. Development of REST API
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
