Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2–4 years of experience who is passionate about building scalable, cloud-based applications. You will work as part of a collaborative engineering team to develop, test, and maintain microservices that run in a modern AWS-based environment.

Healthcare domain exposure is a plus, especially for engineers interested in building secure, reliable systems that handle sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java
• Contribute to the development of microservices and RESTful APIs
• Build and deploy applications on AWS, using services such as S3 and EKS (with guidance)
• Containerize applications using Docker and support deployments on Kubernetes (EKS)
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL / Aurora PostgreSQL
• Implement basic caching and performance improvements using Redis
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues in development and production environments
  
  

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Hands-on experience with Java and backend application development
• Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services
• Hands on experience in building front-end applications using React or Angular.
• Basic to intermediate experience with AWS (S3, EC2, or EKS preferred)
• Experience using Docker for application containerization
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
  
  

• Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS) in a production or staging environment
• Familiarity with Redis or caching concepts
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code tools
• Exposure to GitLab CI/CD or other CI/CD pipelines
• Experience or interest in the healthcare domain
