Insurity’s Next Software Engineer II, Salesforce Developer
As a Software Engineer II, Salesforce Developer at Insurity, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our internal Salesforce environment and a CPQ-like solution (Nue) that supports core business operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, resolve issues, and ensure system reliability. What Our Software Engineer II, Salesforce Developer Will Do
- CPQ-like Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, and configure a CPQ-like solution to meet complex business requirements.
- Customize product catalogs, pricing rules, discount schedules, and quote templates.
- Technical Implementation
- Build and maintain custom configurations, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and Apex code.
- Develop scalable and reusable components for a CPQ-like solution and related modules.
- Integration & Data Management
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (e.g., ERP, billing platforms, Jira).
- Manage data migration, cleansing, and synchronization across systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Maintenance & Optimization
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Continuously optimize CPQ-like solution processes and configurations based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Documentation & Training
- Create and maintain technical documentation for CPQ configurations and customizations.
- Train end-users and support teams on new features and workflows.
- Conga Template Management
- Maintain and enhance document templates generated through Conga, ensuring they align with business requirements and branding standards.
- Collaborate with business users to automate document generation workflows and troubleshoot issues related to Conga
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL.
- Expertise in CPQ and CPQ-like solutions, including configuration and coding
- Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Developer II is a plus).
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
- Java code knowledge is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of the low-code/no-code integration platforms, e.g., Workato
- Passion for delivering high-quality software and continuous learning
